day dreaming at work
the traffic on the highway zooms past as i gaze at the speeding cars.holding my bag tightly in my hand i wonder if its easier to close my eyes and walk out amoung the cars.maybe an end to this seemingly disasterous journey will be a quick fix.the sweat from my brow drips into my sun dried eyes. i look at my hands dark and dirty. i walk closer to the highway and a car flys past and honks.i jump back and fell on the ground spilling the contents of my bag on the ground.i look up and sign as i repla… Continue

The Relevance Of Each Other’s Deity
A/K/A God Is Love & Love Is God
E very religion seems to say the same thing
T hough not quite the same way
E ach religion says “love is the main thing”
R eligiously inviting this mainstay
N ow there are indeed differences
I t is from these we debate
T he relevance of each other’s deity
Y ours is this & that and mine is great
I believe we often miss our purpose
S o may these words correct our oversight…
…God is love & love is God, and once our hearts get this we got it right

I wish you God as wide as this universe is spacious
Benevolent & gracious

Experienced & gentle
A God so amazing
You can’t find the words or phrasing
So you just raise your eyes to the stars

And your spirit fed
